Today is Jas' 26th birthday! How blessed we are to have him in our lives. Those who know Jason know he is a man of integrity and laughter. He makes all around him feel loved and appreciated. He enjoys life to its fullest and surrounds himself with his favorite things. So in honor of you Jas, I am going to share with everyone some of your favorite things....
Jason loves Mexico City. He served his mission there and spent his time in 5 different towns close to Mexico City. He loves the people and the food, which makes it hard for him to enjoy any Mexican restaurant because he's used to the real stuff. Being in Houston makes it easy for him to eat some good authentic Mexican food, and he loves it.
Jas loves his 6 sisters. You heard me right! He's the only boy of 6 girls. That's one of the best things about him, he can almost read any girls' mind. Almost!
Jason loves his "boys." He has a lot of good friends that mean a lot to him. One of Jason's friends described him as, "Loyal, witty, a perfect fix-it man, and close to the Lord." Jason will go to any length for anyone he loves.
Jason loves his nieces and nephews. He is the first one in his family to be married so there are no little ones on his side yet, but he has well adapted to the 27 nieces and nephews he gained when we met and he became a member of my family. Watching Jason with kids makes any girl's heart melt.
Jason has a passion for airplanes. He turns into a little boy when he hears, sees or talks about any type of air craft. One of his lifetime goals is to fly the C 17 when he grows up.
This Chicago City boy loves Chicago style pizza. Every time he goes home, he makes sure to eat chicago style pizza.... and it's tasty! Anyone who tries it will never go back to anything else.
One of Jason's best qualities and favorite things to do is help others. I always hear him asking others what he can do to help. He is the first one to jump at any opportunity to give a hand. This past weekend we went to our friend Leah's to help her paint her sons' game room. We spent all day under Jason's instructions while he took charge and painted the day away.
Jas, you're the love of my life, my best friend and soul mate. You make me smile every day and inspire me to be a better sister and friend. You take the time to enjoy life and help me remember to live in the moment. You're a shining example of righteousness, spontaneity and laughter. I can't wait to share many more birthdays to come. Hey Jase! Happy Birthday! So I thought I'd take this opportunity on your big special day to tell you what I really think about you! I know Erika and the girls and I like to have a lot of fun with you, and we like poking fun with the ford focus and the Christina Agulera- I am beautiful, and the skydiving instructor...I could go on for days...But the point is you know we only do that because we love ya! I think your the most loyal friend I have ever had and your so willing to help with ANYTHING! Whether im just upset and need to cry to you and Liza for a bit, or I need help setting up my computer. Just anything! I know you would do anything for me and I want you to know I'd do the same for you! Im so happy you have Liza! She has defiantly calmed you down a bit and if its possible made you a better person! You guys are so great together and she is AMAZING! Im so excited for the wedding!
